the overguyed 80' Rohn 25G and 47' 20G
A Channel Master 1110 VHF antenna and Channel Master 7 foot screened UHF dish,
with Channel Master CM 7777 pre-amp, are atop the 80' tower fed with 1/2 inch hardline.
A Mosley TA-33 tribander is on the 47' tower and a M2 6M7JHV 7 element 6 meter yagi is ten feet above it.
the screened 7 foot Channel Master UHF dish
the screening is 1/2" hardware cloth with stainless steel cable ties
Screening helps improve directionality, front-to-back, and possibly gain.
a Channel Master CM7777 pre-amp and 1/2" aluminum hardline are used
E-Skip Antenna
15' 7" long vertically polarized Channel Master 1110 up 12' with 10 degree tilt
The mast is a wheelbarrow handle and the 2 supports are fiberglass.
The coax is guided out the back using ½ of a hula hoop.
The antenna is vertically polarized to attenuate horizontally polarized stations
received by groundwave
It is only 12' high to also attenuate groundwave stations.
The 10 degree tilt upwards may or may not help improve E Layer reception.
(note: I've since removed the front 6 hi-band elements)
RG-11 coax and a Winegard AP-8700 pre-amp is used.
A Zenith for each lo-band channel during E-Skip openings
(note: the two bottom 13" Zeniths have failed after years of service. I've since acquired
13" sets made by Sony, Emerson, Sylvania, and two more Zeniths as backups.)
An Insignia DTV converter box connected to a 60" Sony HDTV monitor is the main DTV DXing equipment
plus a Diamond VC500 video capture device.
An ICOM R7100 VHF/UHF communications receiver with analog video adapter connected to a 9" Panasonic b&w monitor,
and an ICOM IC-756 Pro II ham transceiver are also used.
